Ashley Stanhope joins KPW Communications

KPW Communication is excited to welcome Ashley Stanhope to KPW Communications.


Ashley Stanhope is a former journalist and newsroom manager who is an expert in cryptocurrency and blockchain innovation.


She has regularly secured earned media coverage for her clients by top-tier news organizations including Bloomberg, CNBC, The Washington Post and The Wall Street Journal.


Ashley has a strong background in marketing and a proven track record of building company brands. Prior to joining KPW, she worked as the director of communications for one of the largest Ethereum staking companies in the capital markets. She also helped launch the Canadian Web3 Council, a leading industry association that actively engages with the Canadian Federal government to introduce new policies for digital assets and Web3 technology.


Before getting involved in the crypto industry, Ashley was a senior account director at a strategic communications firm where she specialized in content creation, media outreach, and coaching Big Tech executives ahead of key interviews.


Ashley spent nearly a decade as a breaking news journalist in some of Canada's busiest newsrooms. She started as an assignment editor at CP24 before working her way up to a management role at Global News Toronto where she supervised more than two dozen journalists and field crew. She spearheaded coverage for national and international events such as the COVID-19 pandemic, the Toronto Raptors’ 2019 NBA championship, and the 2018 Yonge Street van attack.
